Lisa Hathorn
Author | Executive Producer
Lisa is the founder of multi-media production house Lisa Hathorn Productions and is a passionate advocate for universal literacy and quality entertainment.
As Executive Producer for Seven’s New Media Division from 2000 to 2009, Lisa designed and launched the Seven Network’s national digital presence. She oversaw the launch of the Seven Network’s new media strategy and online programming for properties including Entertainment, Lifestyle, Seven News and Seven Sunrise program.
This included groundbreaking, digital integrated programming for the beloved Australian television stalwart, Home and Away.
Lisa believes in promoting creativity and access to education through multi-channelled content. After leaving Seven, she commenced independent production,
including the creation of animated education series Brainstop.
Her first children’s book No! Never! (Hachette, Australia) won the prestigious 2021 Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) Early Childhood Book of theYear.
Lisa lives, writes and produces in Sydney.
Hadia Achieu Moir
Senior Digital Producer
Senior Digital Producer, Hadia Achieu Moir is responsible for the website launch of Lisa Hathorn Productions in 2022. Prior to joining Lisa Hathorn Productions Hadia worked as a Visual Merchandiser at H&M and JD Sports Fashion.
She currently studies a Diploma of Fashion Marketing & Enterprise at Billy Blue College of Design. Hadia is a proud South Sudanese Australian woman and has a fierce passion for expression and connection through strategy, collaboration and storytelling. She believes in success through creativity.


Libby Hathorn
Author | Poet
Libby Hathorn is a writer, poet and librettist. She has won numerous awards both here and internationally, including the Centenary Medal, the Alice Award 2014, the Asher Peace Prize 2017, the Lady Cutler Award 2020, and the ABIA Pixie O’Harris Award 2022, for outstanding services to children’s literature.
Recent picture books; No! Never! (Hachette Australia), with daughter Lisa, won the CBCA Early Childhood Children’s Picture Book of the Year 2021; her latest book is Mother Earth (Hachette Australia) 2023, poetry which celebrates our unique Australian environment. Two poetry collections, Shining City Sydney (Hathorn&Cummings), Pacific Ocean Press; and This is Us. (Hathorn&Fell), National Library Australia, launched in 2025.
Her verse novel Through a Glass Darkly is slated for 2026. Libby lives and breathes poetry.
