About Lisa

​Lisa is the founder of multi-media production house Lisa Hathorn Productions and is a passionate advocate for universal literacy and quality entertainment.

As Executive Producer for Seven’s New Media Division from 2000 to 2009, Lisa designed and launched the Seven Network’s national digital presence. She oversaw the launch of the Seven Network’s new media strategy and online programming for properties including Entertainment, Lifestyle, Seven News and Seven Sunrise program.

This included groundbreaking, digital integrated programming for the beloved Australian television stalwart, Home and Away.

Lisa believes in promoting creativity and access to education through multi-channelled content. After leaving Seven, she commenced independent production, including the creation of animated education series Brainstop.

Her first children’s book No! Never! (Hachette, Australia) won the prestigious 2021 Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) Early Childhood Book of theYear.

Lisa lives, writes and produces in Sydney.
